ARCHIVE AND RESEARCH LIBRARY PARK
"Library Park is a new concept in the field of cultural spaces that integrates diverse venues, such as a library, a museum, an archive, a film screening hall, a theater, a community room, and a resting area. In essence, it provides a comprehensive cultural experience for visitors as a place where people can know more about a wide array of Asian cultural resources collected and produced by ACC Archive & Research. Library Park consists of Project Space and Special as well as a variety of cultural resources in Asia.
Library Park provides an in-depth understanding of Asian culture for visitors not only through its diverse collections, materials, optimized viewing space, and resting area, but also through regular themed lectures, interactive workshops, and screenings.
Moving forward, Library Park will be reborn as a space that embraces knowledge and culture, allowing it to highlight many rich Asian cultural resources through continuous research and collection activities."

Project Space, where key contents of Library Park are showcased, collects materials based on special themes and, with this, presents diverse forms of exhibitions. Theme-based research, as ACC Archive & Research’s method to build up and collect Asian cultural resources, follows two principles necessary for collecting Asian cultural resources. First, the research focuses on aspects of modern history that have exerted the greatest influence on contemporary Asia after World War II. Second, within the spectrum of various academic–theoretical views on Asia, the collection will revolve around art and culture, which can best elucidate and visually represent the Asian society. Through preliminary research and investigation by experts, the 13 themes were selected and curated to form Project Space at Library Park.
