Group Introduction: Seoul Ballet Theatre
The “Seoul Ballet Theatre” was founded in 1995 under the motto “creating and popularizing Korean ballet.” This year, they celebrate their 30th anniversary.
With youthful enthusiasm and an experimental spirit unafraid of challenges, we are recognized as a trend leader in the cultural and artistic world of Korea, thanks to their use of wide range of choreography spanning modern and contemporary ballet. We have achieved the feat of exporting Korea’s creative repertoires abroad for the first time. Additionally, the artistic and social merits of our performances and art education programs have been recognized with various prestigious honors, including the Korea Artist Prize, the Culture and Arts Prize of the Republic of Korea, and citations from the Ministry of Health and Welfare for our contributions to disability policies.
Main Repertoire
“Dancing Museum,” “Peter Pan,” “Cinderella,” “In the Mood for Love,” “The Nutcracker,” “Ballet Talk Talk,” etc.
