Four pieces of artwork that were commissioned by the ACC for the 2021 ACC “Sensory Garden: Night Falls, Light Fulls” are “recollected” at this exhibition. “2022 ACC Fire Road Media Facade: Re-collection” has a double meaning. On the one hand, it refers to the act of recollection (recall memories), and on the other hand, it refers to recollecting art collections. Recall the memories of walking past poems, music, fragrances, art, and light, and enjoy this time to take a step closer to rejuvenating your daily life.

Artist Kwon Hye-won depicts the landscape of the ACC with “borrowed scenery,” a concept to bring the outside scenery to an indoor space. The video describes the ecological environment from Mudeungsan Mountain, the source of the Gwangjucheon Stream, to Yeongsangang River, following the water, and reflecting the images in the Sensory Garden. Artist Yong Sera, known for her dynamic and delicate designs, collaborates with Poet Ha Sang-wook, who is famous for scratching the itches of over 99% of the public. Artists Choi Sung-Rok and Moon Chang-Hwan invite viewers to walk through a virtual space by shooting 3D images on the walls and floor. Choi weaves a mythical method of storytelling that describes the foundation of a universe, and Moon presents a projection mapping work with the concept of metaverse.

The ACC plans to hold a “Re-collection” exhibition on the Fire Road outside its venue to present the previous year’s commissioned works to the public.
