Asia Culture Center (ACC) is providing an opportunity to watch a movie in the theater cinema without spending money…. Yeah FREE……Its FREE to watch a movie.

Who doesn’t like to watch movies? If you ask me I would say in this world everyone likes to watch movies, yeah the interest of watching movies could be different; some people like Classical and some likes modern one, some like comedy and some like tragedy, some like horror movies and some like romantic movies. So everyone has their preferences in movies. In September, 2019, ACC has shown four movies such as; Hopi and Chadol Bawi, Mozart- The Marriage of Figaro, and Last Child movies have been screened in the ACC Theaters. Recently, I have got an opportunity to watch the German movie titled “The Chronicle of Anna Magdalena Bach”, which is a classic movie and directed by Jean-Marie Straub and Danielle Huillet. The films of Jean-Marie Straub and Danielle Huillet are some of the flawless in all of cinema; The Chronicle of Anna Magdalena Bach is also included. Yet the thrill of listening to some of the music performed by Johann Sebastian Bach with such enormous skill and commitment offers a truly ecstatic experience.

The restoration of the film is perfect, thus enhancing the pleasures of the beautiful graphic compositions and the sound's acute clarity. A plus in this set is Jean-Marie Straub's filmed introduction to the film, an interview with Christianne Lang, the movie's lead actress. It's saturated with Bach's music, and much of the movie's costume is little more than a filmed recital. But it contains a lot of important biographical material to give us an insight into the difficulties of Bach’s life.

This film may not be for everybody, but lovers of truly classical cinema. This film may be of interest to music lovers, due to its detailed showcasing of period instruments, sheet music compositions, and unceasing Bach music.

If you want to know the differences between commercial cinema theaters and ACC Theater, you should come and watch the movies. In ACC theaters, you will watch the classic movie, which commercial theaters are rarely shown you. The featured works encompass a wide range of genres and disciplines, including experimental films, media art, indie documentaries, and films shown at international film festivals.

Still, you have a chance to watch, so Don’t miss it! The ACC has one more program titled DMZ International Documentary Film Festival which will be held from October 16 (Wednesday) to October 19 (Saturday), 2019.

Don’t forget to come and watch, there is no need for registration; the tickets are available on first come first serve condition.
