1. Program Overview

• Name of Program: 2024 ACC Asia Culture Museum Visiting Researcher Program
• Area of Study: Urban culture and lifestyle in West Asia and South Asia
• - Thematic research & source collection for establishing an Asia culture research hub at the Asia Culture Museum
• Research Period: May 31st – December 31st, 2024
• Number of Candidates: 2 mid-level researchers

• 1) Minimum 10 years of experience after obtaining a doctoral degree or experience of 5 or more years following an assistant professorship at a university
• 2) Published 5 or more academic achievements as detailed below in the last 5 years (since Jan 1st , 2019)
  * Preferred qualifications

• A person who has a research record on research topics directly related to the recruitment research field or the collection or exhibition of the ACC Asian Culture Museum.

2. Support and Benefits

• Private office space at the ACC(Located in Gwangju metropolitan city, South Korea)
• Research grant: publication fee of up to KRW 4 million (including taxes)
• One round-trip airfare (economy class) and accommodation costs (3-nights, 4-day trip) for attending international academic events

3. Responsibilities

• Attend the international academic event (planned in November) as a presenter and submit a final research article by September 30th (Length : 1,500 words or more, Presentation.: 15min(in ppt format))
• Final submission of research article by October 30st 18:00 (KST) (Length : 8,000~10,000 words)
