Introduction
We can become dragons if we wait for a thousand years!
It is the 999th year of our wait, and soon, the day will come!
Have you ever waited for something because you so desperately want it?

Here, we have two imugi waiting for a thousand years within a deep lake in a mountain.
“Imugi” are the mythical serpents of Korea that become dragons after waiting for a thousand years.
Transforming into a dragon after a thousand years is like a miracle for these imugi.

We have two imugi, the Blue Imugi, born from Halla, and the Red Imugi, born from Baekdu. They have stood by each other in their thousand-year wait as good friends.
Now, the day approaches for their ascension to the heavens. Can the Blue and Red Imugi become dragons?

This story is about imugi told by three fathers who were born in the year of the serpent.
The three are artists who, like the imugi, pursue a goal and dedicate their lives to it. However, what kind of dragons do they aspire to become?
Through the story of these imugi, we invite our audience members to think about the kind of dragon they would like to become.
Now, join us as we tell the story of the two imugi who wish to become dragons.
Plot
The Blue Imugi and Red Imugi are two friends who are working to become a dragon.
According to the art of self-perfection passed down among imugi, the two move from Hallasan Mountain to Baekdusan Mountain, across the deep lakes and the sharp peaks, to realize their dreams of dragonhood.

Now, the two friends are in their 999th year of waiting
when the Blue Imugi asks, “Must we become dragons?”
The Red Imugi cannot tolerate such questions about their purpose.

Now, on the day of ascension, a Black Cloud appears and causes devastating floods.
The Blue Imugi goes out to help the humans and misses the chance at ascension,
but the Red Imugi successfully ascends and becomes the Red Dragon.
The two friends, one imugi and one dragon, then set out to quell the wrath of the Black Cloud.
