Introduction
ACT Festival 2022
MICRO UTOPIAS
ACT (Arts & Creative Technology) Festival is a multicultural interface with the aim of promoting the fusion of art and technology. During the festival, artists, designers, engineers, and researchers come together to showcase their creative works that represents cutting-edge technologies and the diversity of Asian culture and share future-oriented ideas.

For the ACT Festival 2022 with the theme of ‘MICRO UTOPIAS,’ participants from various fields will test out social, cultural, and technological interactions and demonstrate new possibilities they found during their projects. The festival will offer new experiences through a variety of programs including exhibitions, lectures, talks, audiovisual performances, and workshops. Hoping to stimulate imagination, we are pleased to unveil a creative platform MICRO UTOPIAS.

We invite you to MICRO UTOPIAS, which is not a single giant ideal but a utopia that will allow us to imagine all possible futures with creative thinking.

Exhibition
The exhibitions feature the results of the research and production for content converging art and technology at ACC, inviting audiences to the realm of new possibilities.
BOMULSUN 3.0 - UNLOCK THE SECRET
ACC Creation Space 1
The showcase exhibits the process and results of the 2020 ACC New Tech-Based Content Lab and attempts to reinterpret cultural heritages in Namdo from the perspective of contemporary art and media art using new technologies.
The Great Chronicle with Earth
ACC Creation Space 2
The ACC convergence exhibition titled “The Great Chronicle with Earth” introduces environmental changes and phenomena of the Earth caused by global climate change through new media art based on immersive technology such as anamorphic and soundscape.
Behind the Wall – Another world unfolds behind the façade of the building

The exhibition “Behind the Wall” showcases another space (extended reality) behind the LED screen of Media Wall, inviting viewers to experience both real and virtual spaces.
Sound Wall – A Digital Empathic Window Through Text and Sound
ACC Media Wall, Hanul Madang Media Cube
Sound Wall consists of two works, Sound Wall and Sound Slope, both of which employ the features of Hangeul.
Lecture & Talk
Curators, artists, and guests will share future-oriented ideas and practices on the themes of New Tech-Based Content Lab, Media Art Lab, and ACC Residency.

“The Network of Coexistence” explores the relationship between nature and humans, and art and technology. With diverse perspectives on space, architecture, sound, video, and media technologies, this audio-visual performance delves into the network of co-existence where we can live organically in harmony and develop new relationships beyond space and media.
