About
The ACC in Archive projects documents the 12-year long journey of the Asia Culture Center from its conception in 2002 to its completion in 2014. This projects aims to collect all the materials related to the construction of the ACC, and categorize and systemize them in order to make them available to the public.

Its first step is to exhibit the various architectural models of Kyu Sung Woo's Forest of Light that was chosen from the International Competition in the late 2005. These models, which were produced as part of the design process by the staff architects, reflect the intention and effort of the architectural team.

Instead of a high-rising monument, Woo's Forest of Light is designed as a ground-level structure naturally harmonizing with the local history and the culture of the citizen. This model, which shows the overall layout of the ACC, reflects the direction of ACC architecture: it pursues the humble, yet encompasses the vast.
