Introduction
2022 ACC Media Facade Collection

반디산책
2022 ACC Media Facade < BANDI WALK: One Step Closer to Our Earth > is an exhibition that sheds light on the yesterday, today, and tomorrow of the Anthropocene age. The ACC Media Facade is a yearly temporary exhibition that introduces site-specific works of convergent art in the outdoor space unique to the ACC. Following 2020s < Night Glow ACC > and 2021s < Sensory Garden >, this year's Media Facade, < BANDI WALK: One Step Closer to Our Earth >, is held under the ACC content theme for the year 2022, "just like nature!" It’ll run from August 11 to 31, and the Media Wall will screen the preview for the exhibition. The main exhibition will be held in Hanul Madang and other spaces throughout the ACC.

< BANDI WALK: One Step Closer to Our Earth > is an exhibition that sheds light on the yesterday, today, and tomorrow of the Anthropocene age. Whether you’re a child or an adult, all visitors can walk around the ACC, remember the abundance of the ecosystems of the past, listen to the stories of the Earth today, spread awareness of the need for carbon neutrality, and renew their will to start with small actions that can help the Earth. This year’s exhibition will feature 27 works from 16 artists (teams), including two artists (teams) chosen through the 2022 ACC Regional Artist Media Art Contest. In particular, this exhibition is notable for starting with an international forum that investigates the potential for convergent art beyond the Anthropocene age, featuring five presentations from scholars and curators around the world. As the world moves toward the post-COVID age, this exhibition invites us to think about the roles and responsibilities that the people of the Anthropocene have.
