Introduction
9, Cloud, Dream
Cho Youngkak
It is composed using AI technology by adapting < gu-un-mong >, a Korean novel from the Joseon Dynasty, from a modern perspective, and adding 3D animation-like temporal and spatial interpretation based on the text. Production is a video novel created by artificial intelligence by using the dramatized text of the original as a database and using this data as a text-prompt.

The original text of this work is based on Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, and it reconstructs the literary works described on the boundary between reality and dreams through the process of going through the action of various neural networks. By applying the text in each sentence as parameters of video and music, it is produced with an artificial intelligence algorithm-based generator. This is a kind of second work that converts past literary works (copyright expired, use of shared works) into contemporary works by interpretation of other subjects. In addition, the painting style of the Joseon Dynasty in which the text was written is implemented as an image, but it focuses on implementing the effects of the Unreal Engine in the image for the 3D space. Finally, a separate extended video is configured so that viewers can enjoy it through the AR application.

In this artwork, the process of creating audiovisual results through artificial intelligence was designed so that the work could be established by intervention not only by the artist and the audience, but also by others rather than personal subjects. By reflecting the technology of artificial intelligence that is infiltrating the contemporary society in the production of works, the work forms significance as a new attempt with the result of a new subject. In addition, we are trying to produce videos that can derive new perspectives and experiences through an approach to society, environment, and humans viewed from the eyes of machines or systems, rather than humans in the high-tech society. Therefore, In this artwork, the element of the future or reality of technical civilization is a key element. As a result, humans were excluded from the subject, but through the re-illustration of art, a newly constructed system for humans, that is, the cross-section of the future society and environment, is simulated.
Artist Introduction
Artist Youngkak Cho explores the various technology-social-cultural issues arising within the complex systems of the environment (natural/technical/virtual/physical) that today's digital environment has raised us. It actively intervenes through digital technology with respect to the relationship between various subjects inside and outside the system, and interfaces at points where different layers contact. This is directed as a re-arranged system to explore another possibility and field of view. In recent works, new technology (IT, etc.) technologies such as A.I, data science, robotics, and blockchain are mainly fused and used. In particular, it focuses on creating a complex system situation as an environment that projects the uncertain family situation into the present.
