- Subject: “Fu-Yu-Sho,” The New Calligraphy Performance merging Virtual Reality and Live Music.
- About the Show:
- A new digital performance of Virtual Reality (VR) that combines Japanese traditional culture “calligraphy” and advanced VR technology. Three-dimensional handwriting that is drawn in the virtual space synchronizes with the surroundings and weaves fantastic stories. This novel performance is produced through collaboration of a calligrapher, Gyokuran, and a digital contents creator, XOOMS, and in this performance, it is accompanied by improvised live music of a keyboard instrument and a violin.
