Miss Hawan Choi a 12th ACC reporter from Chung- Buk- University shared her views in the interview that “Session about photos was useful for me as it is very practical and will work for me in my daily life”

“Session about Article writing was most useful for me as I have experience in writing, but here I learned how to conduct interviews with people and I also got many tips accordingly” she also added that “As I didn’t know much about ACC even Gwangju, this is my first time to be here in Gwangju, so this credit goes to ACC because of ACC I am here at a beautiful place of South Korea (Seo Sung Hee- Sungshin Women’s University)

“All sessions and facilities were good which provided by ACC management, specifically; I liked the session on films. As making films is my passion and here I have been assigned to editing videos. So I have learned about how to make nice shots for films, now I am familiar with many new types of shots” She also added that “the food is so much delicious and I also liked accommodation which provided me by ACC” (Lee Seo Woo- Hongik University-Sejong)

“I have worked as 11th ACC reporter, but this year seems me totally different from last year, the environment is very friendly and I have enjoyed work with ACC reporter colleagues, I hope this year will also be good for us and we will have fun too. Session about experience sharing of ex-reporters really inspired me and absolutely their tips will help me to bring good content for ACC in my upcoming articles. I would like to wish good luck to everyone who is selected and we will learn from each other. Hopefully, we will be good friends forever” (Imarova Mokhinur- Foreign student reporter)

“I liked orientation though it was in Korean language, but I could understand with the visual presentations and videos, these are really enjoyable moments for me and I am happy that staff is really professional and so much friendly, my fellow reporters are open-minded and helpful.

I visit ACC whenever I have free time; ACC is a nice place for tour and can learn more about Asian cultures, we did tour many times along with my friends. While the event of May 18, 1980, is a real motivation for me as this center evokes me the incident, I can imagine it. Furthermore; I will do my best and will bring some productive content for ACC.  All sessions were informative but I loved assignment task which was given by organizers that we have to work as a team and will have to create good content for ACC, so we did teamwork and have conducted interviews with reporters” Khamdamova Nagina-Foreign student reporter.

“The orientation is essential for us and it was very useful, not because of that we got only information but the meeting with experienced ex-reporters was really amazing for me when I compare this orientation with other orientations so this was really different from others. In previous orientations which I have attended so far, the organizers have to feed only information but in this orientation, the extensive and valuable experience is also shared by ex-reporters. Definitely, these learning sessions will improve my skills and will contribute to my growth and my personal career. Furthermore; I would suggest to ACC management that they should work on their SNS content, as many people don’t know about ACC so the organization should use the platform of social media and promote their activities. (NA Yong Rok – Gwangju University)

During the orientation other 12th ACC reporters also expressed their views that they are glad to be a part of the prestigious organization of South Korea and they all are very much satisfied with this orientation as it is unique orientation by its methodology and arrangements.
